HR Benefits Coordinator

Job Location – Century City, CA

Type – 4 Month Contract

Rate – $20.00 – $22.00 per hour


  • Work with HR, vendors, and carriers on escalated employee issues, including claims resolution
  • Serve as contact for senior executives and their assistants for benefit inquiries
  • Assist employees with benefit questions, research, follow-up timely and accurately
  • Provide support for compliance projects, audits and documentation of appeals
  • Manage administration of international benefit plan, including plan eligibility, enrollment and billing for expatriate employees
  • Assist with managing employee discount programs with vendors
  • Prepare payroll funding requests, support audits, and reconciliations for the 401(k) Plan
  • Manage and post Open Enrollment communications and documents to the recordkeeping site
  • Assist with reviewing and testing Open Enrollment systems and materials
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable to process department invoices & set up new vendors
  • Assist with communication and wellness initiatives
  • Provide administrative support to department (may include but not limited to office/facilities logistics, daily mail, creating shipping labels, coordinating calendars and meeting invites, managing supplies, scanning documents)


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of progressive benefits administration experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional people skills with experience and desire to help employees at all levels
  • Outstanding computer skills including but not limited to MS Suite programs (Outlook, Word, expert-level Excel a plus), Web-based programs and tools
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Strong ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to establish priorities as related to assigned projects
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
