Sr. Social Media Coordinator

Job Location – El Segundo, CA (Hybrid – 4x per week onsite)

Type – 12 Month Contract

Rate – $32.00 – $35.00 per hour


The Opportunity

The Corporate Communications team is seeking a Sr. Social Media Coordinator to plan, create, and execute social media and other digital content for external audiences. Must have excellent writing and storytelling abilities as well as knowledge of how brands fit in the social space. The ideal person is a blend of creative and strategic thinking that is willing to take on ideation and execution as part of a bigger communications strategy focused on amplifying key corporate initiatives and brand stories across focus social and web communities.

What Your Impact Will Be


  • Create and ideate social media content for various audiences
  • Coordinate social executions in collaboration with brand teams
  • Write compelling copy that is on-brand and on-strategy
  • Build on social content strategy for various social platforms
  • Create social assets that are optimized per social platform
  • Support social coverage for real-time events (photos and video)
  • Monitor social platforms to identify activation opportunities
  • Identify and optimize content opportunities based on social analytics
  • Digest business, entertainment, corporate, and brand information and distill it into essential components
  • Support web-related content updates using CMS (as needed)
  • Provide support and assistance in research (trends, topics) as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a positive and productive manner
  • Work on multiple projects at once, sometimes under time-sensitive deadlines
  • Monitor news
  • Support other social/digital Corporate Communications initiatives as needed

What We’re Looking For


  • 2-3 years of experience managing and creating social media for brand(s) including developing social strategies
  • Awareness and understanding of social media management, what works, and how to create across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Threads
  • Strategic understanding of the digital and social landscape
  • Strong resourcefulness and solutions-oriented attitude
  • Native social platforms editing knowledge and experience creating social stories
  • Highly organized, positive thinker
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally at all organizational levels
  • Great command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary)
  • Relentless attention to detail
  • Experience using design software like Adobe Photoshop or Canva
