Software Engineer

Job Location – Orange County, CA

Type – Direct Hire

Pay Rate – $150K – $160K

Position Overview

Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Software Engineers contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and test software applications and systems according to specifications and requirements.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and refine specifications for new and existing software features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver robust solutions.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Maintain and update existing software applications as needed.
  • Write and maintain documentation for software functionality and processes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, programming languages, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Core Skills (preferably listed in their current role):
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • NET & C# (5+ years)
  • React (3+ years)
  • JavaScript/TypeScript (3+ years)
  • SQL Server / MS SQL (5+ years)

Bonus / Nice to Have:

  • Event-driven architectures using messaging systems
  • Any of these technologies: RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, Apache Kafka
  • AWS (3+ years)
  • CI/CD
  • REST / API
  • Prior experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
