Sr. Business Application Analyst (Healthcare)

Job Location – Remote, but must reside in Pacific Time Zone

Type – Direct Hire

Pay Rate – $110K – $125K Per Year

The Sr. Business Application Analyst will work with external vendors, system owners, community partners, contractors, and company’s leadership to design, develop, implement and make operational Business Application information systems, including but not limited to: Lawson Financials (Fin), Lawson Supply Chain (SCM), Kronos Timekeeping and Scheduling, Kronos Extensions (aka Optilink), Kaufman Hall Budgeting and Planning, and Strata Decision Support Solution (DSS).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business and design requirements through user needs assessments and gap analyses
  • Define system scope and objectives; evaluate and enhance existing or proposed systems to improve efficiency
  • Design or modify processes and procedures using data analysis and data processing solutions
  • Serve as application administrator, ensuring data integrity, system security, and overall system reliability
  • Extract, analyze, transform, and report data to support business decision-making
  • Act as a key liaison between users, vendors, and technical teams, facilitating clear communication
  • Manage software upgrades, implementations, and system conversions
  • Maintain system functionality aligned with departmental workflows and productivity goals
  • Balance customer-facing support with project-based work in a dynamic environment
  • Develop and maintain advanced reports using technologies such as SQL, QlikView, Lawson BI, Infor BI, and Kronos
  • Work independently on complex system and project initiatives; provide guidance and oversight to other staff as needed

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field required,
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 9 years of relevant business experience are required.

Minimum Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Must have 3 years of experience in an IS healthcare setting.
  • Must have 2 years of full life cycle implementations (from scoping/planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, go-live and support) experience.
  • Familiarity and experience with Kronos, Lawson, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Finance and/or Procurement/Supply chain experience (purchasing, inventory, warehousing, accounts payable), and/or Human Capital Management and/or Payroll processing a plus).
  • Consulting experience preferred.

  • Support system builds, operations, and industry best practices (ITIL)
  • Produce standard and ad hoc reports and analytics
  • Train users and support system implementations
  • Participate in on-call rotation and additional assigned duties
